I grew up in a home in which a sense of humor was highly valued and often practiced. My mother had a lightning-quick wit that leaned toward the risqué and my father was a master of convoluted wordplay. I learned very early the rewards of making others laugh.

I wrote a weekly humor column for The Campbell County Recorder for over 14 years. I was a feature writer for Fort Thomas Living magazine for two years.

One of my essays appears in the book “Laugh Out Loud… 40 Women Humorists Celebrate Then and Now…Before We Forget.” I also have an essay in the book “”Random Female Syndromes…Funny Fixes for All the Things You Thought Were Wrong With You.” Both anthologies are available on Amazon.
